World Osteoporosis Day Awareness Campaign
Augmented Reality Health

About the Campaign
Inara by Intas leveraged CIL's AugmentR platform to transform a traditional World Osteoporosis Day awareness poster into an interactive digital experience. By integrating AR into the poster, the campaign enabled audiences to access a special osteoporosis awareness message from actress Sudha Chandran through a simple QR scan, making healthcare communication more engaging, relatable, and memorable.
Campaign's Objective
The campaign aimed to create greater awareness around osteoporosis and bone health, make healthcare communication more engaging and interactive, and transform a static awareness poster into a digital experience. It also focused on delivering a memorable message through a familiar public figure while creating an easy and accessible audience journey through QR-enabled AR.
CIL's Solution
Using the AugmentR platform, CIL developed an AR-enabled experience integrated into the World Osteoporosis Day poster. A QR code provided instant access to the digital experience, allowing audiences to view a special osteoporosis awareness message from Sudha Chandran. The solution connected traditional healthcare communication with an interactive mobile experience through a seamless scan-to-experience journey, without requiring any app download.
Outcome
The campaign successfully transformed a conventional osteoporosis awareness poster into an interactive digital experience, creating a more engaging way for audiences to connect with the campaign message. Featuring a familiar public figure made the communication more relatable and memorable, while demonstrating how Augmented Reality can enhance healthcare awareness campaigns by turning static communication into meaningful digital experiences.
