Twenty-five years is a long time to be in any industry. It's long enough to watch channels rise and fall, technologies arrive and disappear, and entire marketing play books get rewritten from scratch. We've been in the middle of all of it.
Since 1999, Cosmic Information & Technology has been building the systems that help India's biggest brands talk to their customers through SMS, voice, missed calls, IVR, chatbots, AR, and increasingly, AI. We've worked with over 4,000 companies, from national FMCG giants to political campaigns to growing startups, and we've built or partnered on some of the most interesting consumer engagement technology to come out of India in the last two decades.
Consumer engagement is at an inflection point. AI is moving from interesting experiment to actual infrastructure. India's digital landscape is fragmenting in ways that make blanket strategies useless. And brands, large and small, enterprise and startup, are trying to figure out where to put their energy and money in a way that actually reaches people.
We've been sitting in the middle of all of that since 1999. We have a perspective shaped by two and a half decades of building, iterating, and getting it right.
The way we approach this work comes down to three things.
First, that technology serves the conversation and not the other way around. The best engagement technology is invisible consumers don't want to know they're interacting with a system, they want to feel heard.
Second, that India doesn't need imported solutions. Device fragmentation, regional languages, Tier 2 and 3 connectivity, the sheer scale of this market global engagement play books routinely fail here for predictable reasons, and we've been navigating those specifics for over two decades.
Third, that jargon is a substitute for clarity, not a sign of intelligence. We'll say what we mean, in plain language, backed by how things actually work.
